- 6 planned modules
This course is in development and not yet available for purchase. The planned curriculum below is a draft and may change before launch.
Overview
A short, beginner-friendly course of about three weeks at an hour a day. You learn what testing can and cannot prove, how to turn requirements into test conditions, how to write test cases and test plans, how to use equivalence partitions and boundary values, how to run exploratory and regression testing, how to reproduce and report defects, how unit, integration and end-to-end tests differ, and how quality fits into a team's workflow. Most of the course needs no programming; the automation module uses simple examples. The project is a test suite and a structured defect report for a sample application.
